God is leading in Sam's search for a job at one of the local area schools in California. He has contacted no less than 10 more schools in the area, and 5 of them have already replied asking for more information (resume, cover letter, etc.). Please continue to pray as most of them have said that they don't have any positions that they know will be open for sure. Most of them will be asking their teachers for letters of intent in either February and March, just like the other two schools already mentioned. One of the schools that replied, El Sobrante Christian School, said that they think they will be needing a computer teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. So, continue to pray for God's guidance.
Pastor Rushing said that he thought he may have a house set-up for us upon our arrival. Details are still a bit sketchy, though, as our arrival is still quite a bit in the future. Continue to pray that God will provide the best housing available for our family.
